My 6 year old son has been waiting for the weekend to work on his new lego. He worked on this for several hours today! I think he did awesome!

We had a pool table delivered today. Well, not just any pool table, this one belonged to my husband's grandfather. It has been kept in awesome condition and is over 30 years old! We are looking forward to many nights of fun.

This photo is of a group of farm - fencing stuff that's for sale along the highway quite a ways south of here. My husband and I have driven by here several times and keep forgetting to write the number down as we want to check the prices. We are in the middle of building a barn and will be needing some of of these things. I think they are used but in good condition and will hopefully be cheaper. We are especially interested in the gates. I took this photo today as I was driving by and am posting it so that the number won't get lost! I'll be including photos of our barn in progress on a later date!

This is our cat "Scruffy". I wish photos could show you just how big he actually is! He was super cooperative today and actually looked like he was posing for me!

Well, what I saw and what you see in this photo might be two different things! The sun was setting and reflecting off the windows of the buildings while the geese were flying overhead as well as sitting on the thawed portion of this lake. I only had my P&S and trying to get a clear, no noise photo without flash with it is nearly impossible. With flash the photo was black... It was pretty, this photo just doesn't do it justice :)

This is a plate that was given to me by my grandma. It goes back a few generations, but I don't know all the history. I have several that I might be sharing over this next year :)

These are the massive windmills in Kansas. They are located somewhere around the Ellsworth exit off I-70. I am fascinated every time we drive by them.
