Well, today didn't go as planned - how many ever do? My son (not the one that hit his head yesterday) has been battling sore throats and had strep right before Christmas. I ended up taking him back to the Dr. today after school as his tonsils were all swollen again. We have to see an ENT next week to check the them more... Possible surgery in his little future. After the Dr. we went to get the RX filled and pick up my other son from basketball practice. When I dropped off the RX they said it would be a 2 hour wait. Well, the homemade pizza that was on the agenda for dinner tonight went by the wayside and we ended up going to one of our favorite places - Chipotle. I took this photo from the parking lot in the dark with my new lens. The only thing I did was crop it square. I think I'm really going to like this new lens! Starbucks is right next door, but I rarely go there unless it's to get a gift certificate for someone as I'm not a coffee drinker. I guess we will try for the pizza tomorrow night...
As I sat in the carpool line, I found myself reading this sign. I hadn't taken my photo for the day yet, so I decided to see what this would look like if I took the photo through the windshield of my car. I can't really tell, can you?
Well, I'm posting late, it's actually the next morning as my son hit his head and I ended up sitting with him most of the night. He's fine now. I did get a small opportunity to take a photo last night of these little guys but didn't have the chance to post it. These are actually ice cubes that go in my kids lunches for school but on occasion are also used to take the swelling down from a bump on the head! 
This is the first time in this project my inspiration has come so early in the morning! This photo was taken at about 7:15 this morning from in front of our house. Yes, that's the moon you see over the mountains!
