I was trying to catch the spinner in motion as the kids played Horton Hears a Who tonight. Thanks Abby for this game, the kids love it!

Have you ever heard of a picture party? I hadn't until my middle son entered Kindergarten last year at the same school he now attends 1st grade. At any rate, a picture party includes a couple pages of info about you and 8 photos. You get to stand up in front of the whole class and tell them all about your 8 photos. After that all your info goes on the wall for a month. This photo is the wall display from the picture party. It went up yesterday and he begged me to come to class today and take a photo for this blog! How could I resist? I think my kids are just as interested in this project as anyone! They ask me every day to see what I chose for the PAD! We have been having a lot of fun!

One tired cowboy... This is my youngest son. He plays hard and crashes even harder! He didn't even flinch when I went into his room to take this sweet little pic of him!

Our much needed new furniture arrived today. This is the couch and coffee table for the living room. I guess you can see who took the most advantage of it... Her name is Molly :)

Today I took my middle son to see the ENT regarding his recurring swollen tonsils, snoring, etc. The recommendation... Get them outta there! So, an appointment has been made for Feb 12, to remove his tonsils and adenoids. As you can see from this photo taken with my camera phone while we were waiting for the Dr., my son is thrilled... I think he's looking forward to the ice cream after!

According to the sign, this is the world's largest rocking chair. Not sure this photo is large enough to read the small print, so here it is: 21 feet tall, 14, feet wide, 9100 pounds, hand hewn douglas fir wood built in 1990. It is located in Penrose, CO. We drove by today and I made my husband turn around so I could have my "photo of the day". It sits behind a six foot chain link fence with barbed wire on top. There is no way to get close to it as the building behind it is no longer in business. I was bummed as my husband volunteered to climb up in it so we could really see just how big it is! That would have been a better pic!

Sleep Over Anyone? Along with the pool table came a big screen TV as my mother-in-law is down sizing her home. My husband got it all set up and the kids got out their sleeping bags for a movie (Wall-e) and sleep over. It was complete with popcorn and apples. As you can see I'm posting the next morning. Only two made it the entire night, I was not one of them! My back aches! The floor is HARD! Good memories for all though!!!
