I had to go north a bit today as the sun was setting through the trees. It's amazing how fast it goes down when you're working on getting a good shot of it. This is the only one I got before the sun was behind the mountains. I also thought the pine cone looked nice with the reflections around the edges.

I had to include a picture of our beautiful little Molly after our new dog Koda got all the glory yesterday. I just remembered I did have her on our new couch a while back, but it was a far away shot, so she has made the blog but since she was soooo cooperative, I thought I better include her now so she wasn't feeling left out and this is a close up! So, this is Molly, our pug.

Meet Koda. We've been wanting a bigger dog as our other dog, Molly is a pug. You'll meet her another day, I promise! Koda seems just like the right fit. We got him today from some very nice people. I think he's going to fit in just fine! The boys as well as Jeff and I really like him! He's only 6 months old, so still a puppy with lots of years to grow into our family.

Yes, he is ALIVE!!! My husband caught this little guy today running around on his work bench. He thought he would be a great photo of the day so he kept him for me. We put the kids to bed and decided to get him out for his big photo debut! We thought he was dead so it was going to be an easy deal.... He ended up being COLD NOT DEAD! I got this one shot and then he started moving. We quickly took him back outside where he scurried away. I'm so glad he was still for this one shot on top of my washer and didn't' end up somewhere loose in my house!!!

Five Balls... My son got to go to the "Treasure Chest" at school FIVE times today for learning math facts. He got a ball for everyone in the family! We played a game with them tonight before bed and then put them away for another time! He also helped me with these shots for my blog :)

We saw this train in Larkspur, CO while taking a scenic Sunday afternoon drive. Thanks to my husband for pulling over and dodging a bicyclist for me to get these shots!

This is the pattern on the new pillow sham that matches our new bedspread. It was long over due and I'm happy it finally made it to the bed today!
