05: love to hate

Today's topic in the joy of LOVE is love to hate.  When I thought about this, there's really nothing I HATE... That is such a strong word. This is as close as i could get...  I am thankful that I have a wonderful family of boys including my husband that I get to do laundry for.  I LOVE the help when they pitch in but when I approach it that if I didn't have such great kids and husband I wouldn't have laundry that I dislike either.. it makes me thankful for them.

04: what they wear

Today's joy of LOVE topic is "what they wear".  These are my youngest son's boots and hat.  He doesn't wear them daily but I think he looks pretty cute when he does.  I'm his mom what else would I think?

Old/New

This is the first of two posts for today.  For my 52 Fridays group the theme was Old/New.  My husband came up with this idea, I just executed it! Thank You Lord for making us new in You!  Also, the bible I used belonged to my grandparents.  It has our family tree in the front, something that is very precious to me!  Thank You Jeff for your inspiration!

03: then & now

Today's theme was then and now... This is my youngest son then - at about 4 months and now at 7 years.  Can you believe how he's changed?  Quite a young man he's becoming!

02: how they look

Today's post for the joy of LOVE is "how they look".  As I thought about this assignment I thought of how peaceful all 3 of my boys look while they sleep.  That's what I was going to try to capture for today but when I went to check on my middle son tonight before bed, this jumped out at me.  You see P doesn't LOVE to read like W does, and H is just learning to read (pretty well I might add) so when P does read it's GOOD STUFF.  In this case, his devotionals.

The only light used for this pic is his little reading lamp that sits on his headboard. It was in the original shot but I thought it looked better cropped out.

01: what they do

Today's post for the joy of LOVE is "What They Do".  The focus is for photographers to find love within the four walls of your home - well with the people that live within them...  As you can see what my boys do is play games.  You might also notice that they are not playing the way the game was intended - True for almost all the toys they have!  At any rate, they LOVE games of all kinds.  We had a two hour cold delay for school this morning so that's what they did to pass the time!
