Patriotic Program...

Porter's class along with the entire 1st and 2nd grades had a Patriotic Program. I was quite impressed. It was very well organized and thoroughly enjoyable!

Sweetheart...

Valentines Day brought several opportunities for photos. There were cookies and cupcakes for the kids school classes.. There was heart shaped quiche for breakfast... My sweetheart bought me flowers for our fondue dinner after the kids went to bed... These aren't t just any flowers though, they are made out of wood. The candles added a nice touch I think... The rose photo was taken for a little girl in P's class. Her Dad brought her a rose and balloons to school. I thought that was pretty sweet. Guess that's just one of those things I must admire from afar... dads and daughter - since I'm the only girl in this house, well besides Molly and I don't think anyone will be bringing her flowers ...

Sledding Fun...

Another fun thing we did this month was go sledding. The kids seem to have days off school right and left. There was not one full five day week this month. I think I liked the schedule better at the school in Colorado. Instead of full days off the teachers took every Friday afternoon for inservice. I think I'd like that too IFFFFFFFFFF I were to EVERRRRRRRR go back to teaching... Not sure that will ever come to pass but never say never. We moved to WY in two weeks when we said we'd NEVER move, so if that's what God wants, that's where I'll be :)

PS ... We did not gain a 4th child, this is one of Winton's friends :)

You notice from this post there is no actual day... I just finished editing pics for the entire month. Boy was I behind. I didn't take a photo every day, but did get quite a few significant events. I will post them one at a time, not necessarily in the order in which they happened. Hopefully next month I'll do better...

We'll start off with my youngest son, Hamlin and his first 100 days of school. He's in Kindergarten and they celebrated 100 days of being in school. Each child was to bring 100 of something to eat and they put it all together to make a stew. As you can see here we opted for the heart shaped marshmallows as it was close to Valentine's Day. He counted them out and insisted on 101 so he could eat one before he took them to school. Apparently the "stew" was pretty sweet with lots of good things to eat! What a fun activity :)
