NO SCHOOL DAY...

The kids are out of school today - Teacher work day I believe. It sure seems like they have more days out than when I was teaching... At any rate my two youngest boys made their first ever snowman today and well of course I just had to take photos!

*~Winter~*

This week's theme for my photo a week is *~winter~*... As I looked outside at the fresh snow my eye turned to the melting icicles from our grill. It was my goal to catch one of the droplets in my photo, and I'm happy to say I was successful! Winter as all things in life is a season. We go through many of them in a life time. I hope that no matter what season you are in you can find the beauty God intended.

I'm working with other talented mom photographers on a 52 Fridays posting. This week's photo assignment is a self portrait. We can post them anytime in the week but they are due by Friday. I tried the 365 project year before last and ALMOST made it to the end but we moved so it was just too hard to keep up after that. I'm hoping a photo a week with a specific assignment will be doable. With the encouragement of others it will make it more fun. Follow along either here or on Facebook as it's bound to be an "interesting ride".

Miss Molly 2011

Our little Miss Molly made the 2011 Colorado Pug Rescue Calendar as Miss February. Today in the snow I decided to try out her little fur coat and take some photos. These are my favorites!
